The specimens from the Is le of Wight show some differences in the telopods from those of Ribaut. It is suggested that the British population on the Isle of Wight is at least a geographic race of T iobata (Lee, 2006;J-P. Mauries, pers. comm.). Similar specimens have recendy been reported from Llanelli in South Wales by Harper (2007) ( not s hown on map ).
