originally published as "raulinsii", but this is regarded here as incorrect original spelling (ICZN, Art 32.5, see example ninnei-linnei) and interpretation of old Latin writing (no distinction between u, v and w) respectively, later correced by Leach himself (Leach 1815). There he clearly stated a derivatio nominis "detexit R. Rawlins".
